Italian art exhibitions open in August across Civitanova and Monopoli

The solo exhibition "Oltre" by Franco‑Syrian artist Fares Cachoux opens at the San Francesco multimedia space in Civitanova Alta from 13 August to 3 November. Curated by Cristina Falco and Enrico Lattanzi and organized by Museo Magma with Cartacanta, the show presents the artist’s key series on politics, environment and society. The vernissage is on 13 August, and admission is €5.

From 7 August to 1 November, the 11th edition of the Phest festival returns to Monopoli in the Apulia region. The international photography and art event features works by 56 emerging artists, including Julian Germain’s "Classroom Portraits" and Erik Kessels’ "The Portfolio Parade" in collaboration with Fujifilm Italia. Regional officials such as President Antonio Decaro, Culture Assessor Silvia Miglietta, and artistic director Giovanni Troilo attended the opening. A partnership with the Castellana Caves offers reduced‑price access for ticket holders.
