Italian art exhibitions scheduled for 2026 in Noto and Vieste

Two significant art exhibitions are scheduled to take place in Italy during 2026.

In Noto, the Ex Convento di Santa Chiara will host ‘Beyond Human’ from September 2 to October 22. This collective exhibition features works by artists including Giacomo Borzoni, Andrea Chisesi, and Francesca Dalla Benetta. The show explores the relationship between humanity and technology, addressing themes of artificial intelligence, robotics, and biotechnology. Notably, curator Marcella Damigella utilized artificial intelligence to help narrate the exhibition.

In Vieste, the Museo Civico Archeologico ‘Michele Petrone’ will present ‘Giorgio de Chirico: Ritorno al Mediterraneo’ from May 23 to September 27. Organized in collaboration with the Fondazione Giorgio e Isa de Chirico, the exhibition features approximately fifty oil paintings, watercolors, and drawings. The collection focuses on the artist's later decades and his connection to the Mediterranean landscape and cultural history.
