Italian art exhibitions scheduled for September 2026
Several contemporary art exhibitions are scheduled to take place in Italy in September 2026.
In Marcianise, artist Peppe Ferraro will inaugurate his exhibition ‘Zolle’ at Campo Laurèl on September 12. The works focus on the element of earth as a metaphor for rebirth and regeneration, utilizing a location designed to foster direct contact with nature. Ferraro, a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples, has a long-standing career including exhibitions in Los Angeles and at the Reggia di Caserta.
In Livorno, the Melograno Art Gallery will host the ‘Pezze al Cubo’ exhibition from September 17 to September 30. The show features artists Elisa Biagiotti and Vera Lowen. Biagiotti utilizes analog collage techniques with materials from the 1960s and 1980s to explore themes of identity and desire. Lowen’s work, such as ‘Scelte’, employs symbolic architecture and radial scales to explore human choices, balancing elements of reason, emotion, and culture.
