Italian art scene sees new gallery openings and exhibitions in Milan and Rome

Several new contemporary art initiatives and exhibitions are launching in Italy.

In Milan, the ORMA gallery is relocating to a new site near Central Station on October 7, 2026. The gallery aims to facilitate cultural exchange between Europe and Latin America. Its first exhibition features Argentine artist Nacho Unrrein and Brazilian artist Lucas Simões.

In Rome, the Dada Orler Art Gallery is opening at via Margutta 85. This new space combines the expertise of the Dada Group with the Marco Orler Art Gallery. The inaugural solo exhibition by Anat Ofer will run through October 15, 2026.

Additionally, the blowart contemporary space in Rome's Aurelio district is beginning its exhibition season with 'Scarlet' by Emanuela Mastria. The installation, featuring approximately 200 scarlet porcelain petals, will be on display until January 17, 2027.
