Italian artists release new music centered on themes of loss

Italian musicians Anna Felicetta Cosentino and Levante have released new musical projects centered on themes of loss and family connections.

Anna Felicetta Cosentino has released the single ‘Anche nel freddo che ho trovato’, an intimate track dedicated to her late father. The song utilizes a modern sound with electronic nuances and traditional Italian melodic structures, featuring arrangements by Concetta De Rosa and Antonio Diodati.

Levante has released a new album titled ‘Dell’amore il fallimento il fallimento e altri passi di danza’ via Warner Records. The fifteen-track project includes a spoken cameo from her daughter, Alma Futura. The album concludes with the track ‘Abissale’, which addresses the death of Levante’s father when she was nine years old, framing the music as a way to process past farewells and personal growth.
