Italian athletes achieve success in ParaTaekwondo and Subbuteo championships

In ParaTaekwondo, Antonino Bossolo secured a silver medal in the K44 – 70kg category at the Grand Prix Series in Muju, South Korea. Bossolo reached the final after defeating South Korea’s Dongho Lee and Iran’s Amirmohammad Haghighatshenas. He ultimately lost the final to Mexico’s Juna Diego Garcia Lopez, the Tokyo 2020 gold medalist. Bossolo, who previously won bronze in Paris, noted that this result is a step toward his preparation for the Los Angeles games.

In Subbuteo, athletes from the Subbuteo Club Reggio Calabria dominated the FISTF World Cup Under 12 category in Paris. Marco Averna claimed the world title, while teammates Samuele Murabito and Aleksandar Rossitto secured third-place finishes. The podium sweep marks a significant achievement for the Italian club following a series of victories against competitors from Spain, Greece, Belgium, and the United Kingdom.
