Italian athletes Paoletti and Costi claim gold and bronze in regional equestrian and Paralympic fencing events

Filippo Paoletti of the Tre Coste stable won two gold medals at the regional jump and dressage championships held in Cattolica. He secured first place in the freestyle juniors level F and the juniors F200 level 5, riding his pony Paloma in his final pony competition before transitioning to a horse for the upcoming Italian title defence.

Davide Costi earned a bronze medal in the sabre event at the Italian Paralympic Championships in Rome. After reaching the semifinals, he finished third, a result praised by his coach as a solid step toward the European Paralympic Championships in Cardiff scheduled for October.
