Italian athletes win karate silver and triumph in hockey

Gianluigi Tridente, a 12‑year‑old karateka from Polisportiva Libertas Molfetta, earned a silver medal in the -70 kg Kumite category at the Italian Cadet Karate Championships in Ostia, finishing second among 63 competitors.

In indoor hockey, Trissino defeated host Bassano 4‑0 in a Serie A championship match, with Andrea Malagoli and Guilherme Silva each scoring two goals. The game attracted a record crowd of about 3,000 spectators, and Trissino maintained control throughout both halves.
