Italian Athletics Championships in Florence Spotlight Musci Siblings and Langiulli

The Italian Athletics Championships were held in Florence in July 2026. Siblings Carmelo Musci (25) and Anna Musci (22) from Bisceglie added medals to the event: Carmelo claimed silver in the discus with a throw of 61.17 m, while Anna earned silver in the shot put with 16.47 m and bronze in the discus.

In the men’s 200 m, 23‑year‑old sprinter Paolo Langiulli reached his first national final. He ran 21.16 s in the heats and posted 21.17 s in the final, finishing seventh behind champion Filippo Dezza (20.48 s) and former Olympic relay gold‑medallist Eseosa Fostine Desalu.
