Italian author Domenico Monteleone launches new book “Smisurati ritorni”
Domenico Monteleone, a writer, intellectual and former high‑court lawyer, has published a new work titled *Smisurati ritorni – Stazione del tempo immoto*. The book offers an identity‑focused narrative about a Southern Italian community, tracing its cultural DNA to the ancient settlers of Magna Graecia and the legendary founding of the locale called Falsapienza. Monteleone describes the project as a personal journey to reconnect his own youth with the collective memory of the region, emphasizing themes of pride, resilience and the tension between past and future.
The publication is being promoted by the Roma Art Meeting and a public presentation is scheduled for 3 August in Gioia Tauro, where Monteleone will discuss the novel’s exploration of historical roots and contemporary challenges.
