Italian authorities execute deportation and arrest orders

Italian law enforcement has carried out separate operations involving the deportation of a foreign national and the arrest of a local individual for drug offenses.

A 30-year-old Moroccan citizen, deemed socially dangerous, was deported following his release from the Rieti prison. The individual had been serving a sentence for a homicide committed during a brawl in Ferrara when he was a minor. Following his release on October 18, the Rieti Prefecture issued an expulsion decree, and the individual was transferred to the repatriation center in Palazzo San Gervasio.

In a separate incident in Foligno, police arrested a 30-year-old man in the Sant’Eraclio district. The arrest follows a definitive sentence of one year and nine months in prison for seven instances of cocaine dealing and the possession of 50 grams of the substance. The individual was taken to the Spoleto prison to serve his sentence.
