Italian automotive heritage celebrated through racing and luxury releases
Italy's historic automotive culture is highlighted through upcoming racing events and commemorative luxury releases. The Targa Florio Classica 2026 is scheduled to take place from October 15 to 18, featuring a procession of historic cars. A key segment of the event includes the Ferrari Tribute to Targa Florio, where Ferrari vehicles will precede older classic cars through the Madonie region. The route includes several Sicilian towns such as Campofelice di Roccella, Collesano, and Cefalù, concluding in Palermo.
In conjunction with the spirit of Italian racing, Chopard has released a limited edition Mille Miglia Rosso Corsa timepiece. Limited to only one hundred pieces exclusively for the Italian market, the watch features a Rosso Corsa dial and a Lucent Steel™ case. The design incorporates elements inspired by vintage racing, such as knurled buttons reminiscent of brake pedals and a crown engraved with a steering wheel.
