Italian banks expand local presence and business support

Fineco has expanded its presence in Italy with the opening of a new financial center in Cassino. Located on via Gaetano di Biasio, the center is staffed by seven consultants led by Group Manager Lucia Fratangeli. The move aims to meet the increasing demand for professional wealth management and advisory services as traditional bank presence in local areas declines.

Separately, Intesa Sanpaolo has reported providing 300 million euros in funding over the past year to support business growth in the Romagna region. During a meeting with local entrepreneurs, bank officials discussed economic dynamics across key sectors including precision mechanics, agri-food, tourism, and aerospace. The bank also highlighted efforts to support small and medium-sized enterprises in reaching international markets, such as through missions to Silicon Valley.
