Italian beverage brands adapt to evolving consumer trends and redesign identities
The Italian beverage sector is undergoing significant transformations driven by evolving consumer habits and economic shifts. At the Roma Bar Show, industry leaders highlighted a growing demand for high-quality raw materials and conscious consumption.
Micaela Pallini, President and CEO of Pallini, noted a trend toward quick drinks, particularly variations of the spritz. She specifically highlighted a global increase in the popularity of the limoncello spritz. Pallini emphasized that maintaining brand identity and high quality standards is essential to compete in a market where consumers and bartenders seek authentic brand stories.
In a separate strategic move, Disaronno International has unveiled a redesigned bottle for its namesake liqueur, marking the first major identity update in over fifteen years. Developed in collaboration with Robilant, the new design is taller, lighter, and more luminous while retaining the iconic square cap. The redesign includes a new monogram and a Renaissance-inspired light blue color palette to appeal to contemporary global markets.
