Italian book market: Hazel Riley tops June 2026 bestseller list, Gin titles also highlighted

A monthly Amazon‑based ranking of books about gin has been released in Italy, featuring titles such as "Il compendio del gin" and offering readers price‑saving tips and reader reviews to help choose the most popular gin‑themed publications.

Data from the Arianna classification service, which collects sales figures from more than 1,800 Italian bookstores, show that Hazel Riley led the June 2026 bestseller chart, overtaking Emmanuel Carrère. Canadian author Elle Kennedy made a notable impact with four novels placed among the top‑20 positions (including "Il tradimento", "Lo sbaglio", "Il contratto" and "L’imprevisto"). Seven different publishing houses appeared in the top ten, underscoring a diverse market for Italian readers.
