Bridge closures and repairs underway in multiple Italian towns

In Finale Emilia, the provincial road SP10 bridge will be fully closed to traffic from 29 June until 14 August while Batea Costruzioni carries out demolition and joint replacement work costing €450,000. Moleno’s Viale Consolini bridge, shut since December 2024 after a structural failure, has entered the administrative phase for a €120‑130 k refurbishment that aims to restore vehicle access by year‑end. In Carmignano, a new bridge over the SP9 “Di Comeana” was inaugurated after structural consolidation, reopening the route near the Calenzano railway station. A heavy‑truck collision in Salerno damaged a bridge on Via Salita San Giovanni Battista, prompting an immediate road closure and safety works. The Lagastrello bridge over the Enza river in Comano will be restored with a €1.365 million Ministry‑funded project to repair concrete, reinforcement and drainage. In Cuglieri, Sardinia, the Badu Suelza bridge remains closed after a fire‑service inspection declared it unsafe, leaving local farmers and livestock operators without a key route while officials seek regional funding for repairs.
