Italian broadcasters announce summer programming updates

RAI will unveil its 2026 television schedule at a public presentation in Ancona on 3 July. The event will address confirmations and possible cuts to long‑running programmes, assess audience performance and production costs, and signal a shift toward regional involvement by holding the briefing outside Rome.

Radio Spazio refreshed its summer lineup on 22 June, adding new shows such as Luca Piana’s early‑morning news roundup, Antonella Arlotti’s fashion‑and‑culture magazine, and a health segment on infectious diseases. The station also introduced “Cîl turchin,” a folk‑music program, and a special series commemorating 50 years since the Friuli earthquake. These additions aim to broaden regional coverage and engage listeners with diverse topical content throughout the summer months.
