Italian Catholic Youth Summer Camps Conclude in July

The Diocese of Sora‑Cassino‑Aquino‑Pontecorvo held a concluding Mass and evening celebration on July 25 at the parish of San Pietro Apostolo in Cassino, marking the end of the four‑week “Estate Ragazzi 2026” program. The camp, based on Don Bosco’s educational method, engaged roughly 300 children each week, organized into four colour‑coded teams, with the support of 90 trained youth animators who assisted in games, creative workshops, trips, and prayer sessions.

At the same time, the Oratory of Casalmaggiore wrapped up its “Campo Montagna 2026” in Temù. Over a week the participants trekked the mountains, took part in team‑building activities and evening prayers inspired by Saint Pier Giorgio Frassati, emphasizing friendship, faith and personal growth. Both events highlighted spiritual development, teamwork and community involvement among Italian youth.
