Italian children’s summer art and circus workshops continue across La Spezia and Taranto
The ARTù summer laboratory series for primary‑school children, organized by Fondazione Carispezia in partnership with the educational cooperative ZOE, will run through the entire summer until 11 September. Sessions are held Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 1 p.m., with a weekly fee of €50, a maximum of 25 participants and flexible drop‑off times.
In Taranto, the “BES‑T Community in Best Practice” project also carries on during the holidays. Coordinated by the cooperative Logos, the initiative includes the “Circo Laboratorio Nomade” circus‑lab, which uses juggling, acrobatics and other circus disciplines to develop motor, social and emotional skills. A new craft‑making workshop has been added to foster creativity and project‑based learning. The programme is funded by the Fondo per il contrasto della povertà educativa minorile and aims to remove economic and cultural barriers to education for minors.
