In Ascoli Piceno, the municipal water company Ciip is starting a €725,000 project to expand the Monteverde reservoir and replace the existing supply line with a new connection from Rosara. The works, which will use “no‑dig” technology to minimise surface disruption, are scheduled to run from 13 July and are expected to be completed by January 2027, with testing in the following spring.

In Naples, the preferred lane on Via Amerigo Vespucci will be closed to traffic from 13 July to 3 August to allow excavation for the new “tram del mare” line linking San Giovanni and Teduccio with Piazza Sannazzaro. Bus stops will be relocated, and tram services will be suspended between 07:00 and 17:00 on weekdays. Additional works in the San Giovanni a Teduccio area will continue until 30 July, with limited impact on emergency vehicles.

Both projects aim to improve local water supply reliability and public‑transport connectivity while limiting inconvenience for residents.
