Italian cities host historical parades and traditional festivals

Various Italian cities are hosting historical commemorations and traditional festivals. In Tropea, Mayor Giovanni Macrì announced that a historical parade will be held on August 23 to commemorate the city's liberation in 1615. The event aims to preserve collective memory and strengthen the community's sense of identity.

In Urbino, the 44th edition of the Festa del Duca features the return of the Giostra dei Cavalli on August 12. This knightly tournament involves ten riders competing in a test of precision and skill by attempting to hit rings of decreasing size. The event, held in the Borgo Mercatale arena, includes music, historical reenactments, and traditional crafts.
