Italian cities Salerno and Crotone plan New Year's Eve musical events

The municipalities of Salerno and Crotone are organizing musical celebrations for the upcoming New Year's Eve festivities.

In Salerno, the local administration has issued a public notice to acquire artistic proposals for a concert in Piazza della Libertà. The initiative aims to provide entertainment, promote tourism, and encourage visitor influx. Interested economic operators and entertainment agencies must submit comprehensive projects tailored to the urban context of the square by November 4, 2026. The event will be free to the public.

In Crotone, officials are evaluating musical formats for celebrations in Piazza Pitagora, considering options such as solo singers, musical groups, or bands. The city seeks a proposal capable of attracting large crowds to the city center. Previous successful events in the square include a performance by Max Gazzè and the Calabria Orchestra, as well as the Rai 1 New Year's Eve broadcast hosted by Amadeus.
