Italian Civil Protection volunteers recognized for training and service

Civil Protection volunteer groups in Italy have received recognition for their training and service. In Cerveteri, the municipal group conducted Basic Life Support and Defibrillation (BLSD) training for the Italian Army’s 4th Health Department at the Cecchignola Military City in Rome. Mayor Elena Gubetti noted that sharing these life-saving skills with military personnel highlights the professionalism and institutional value of the volunteers.

In Turbigo, the municipal administration honored its Civil Protection volunteers for their contributions during the Milano-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics. Mayor Fabrizio Allevi and Councilor Andrea Azzolin presented the volunteers with Lombardy Region recognition ribbons to acknowledge their dedication to both the Olympic Games and ongoing local community service.
