Italian classical high schools launch new academic year with AI and arts themes

Several Italian classical high schools are launching the 2026/2027 academic year with specialized inaugural events focused on technology and creativity.

Liceo Classico P. Colletta in Avellino will host a lecture titled ‘A Fantastic Intelligence: Dialogues on Artificial Intelligence’ on September 14, 2026. Featuring Armando Bisogno from the University of Salerno, the session aims to explore the relationship between technology, knowledge, and responsibility, examining how AI impacts communication and daily life.

In Cosenza, Liceo Classico Bernardino Telesio will begin its school year on September 15, 2026, under the theme ‘Wonder and Enchantment.’ The event, held at the Auditorium Guarasci, features director Max Mazzotta and filmmaker Giacomo Triglia. The school’s leadership intends to use art and beauty as educational tools to combat social isolation and promote personal growth.
