Italian clubs appoint new coaches across Serie A and Serie B

Monza confirmed Ivan Juric as its new head coach, completing the latest round of Serie A appointments after Paolo Bianco moved to Pisa. The Croatian manager replaces the previous coach and becomes the ninth new boss in the top flight. Other Serie A movements include Eusebio Di Francesco staying at Lecce, Massimiliano Allegri poised to leave Milan for Napoli, and Lazio waiting for Gennaro Gattuso’s contract to end before confirming his role.

In Serie B, nine clubs have already named coaches for the 2026‑27 season. Confirmed appointments include Cristian Bucchi at Arezzo, Francesco Tomei at Ascoli, Antonio Floro Flores at Benevento, Fabio Gallo at Vicenza, Marco Giampaolo staying at Cremonese, Marco Baroni at Hellas Verona, Francesco Modesto at Mantova, Filippo Inzaghi at Palermo and Andrea Chiappella at Virtus Entella. Additional hires are Gabriele Cioffi at Carrarese, Antonio Calabro at Padova, Alessandro Nesta at Avellino and Daniele Galloppa at Modena. Seven Serie B clubs remain without a manager, among them Sampdoria, Pisa (close to confirming Paolo Bianco), Catanzaro (near Marco Turati), Juve Stabia, Empoli, Südtirol and Cesena.
