Italian clubs Ars et Labor and Reggina face disputed ownership sale talks

Maltese businessman Joseph Portelli claimed to have bought the Serie E side Ars et Labor Ferrara for €2 million, citing the club’s historic fan base and recent Serie A experience. The club’s president and sporting director denied any agreement, stating that negotiations are still open and no contract has been signed.

In Calabria, sporting director Pietro Lo Monaco said that a potential sale of Reggina to investor Rizzetta could revive the team after a missed promotion. He stressed that the club’s performance and fan expectations depend on a finalized deal, while also noting that no definitive terms have been set yet.
