Italian clubs Catanzaro and Catania vow continued investment after missing Serie B promotion

Catanzaro president Floriano Notoparla said the club has "given dignity to Calabria" and praised the work of coaches and the sporting director in building a competitive side. He expressed disappointment that the team fell short of the Serie A goal after a strong season, and stressed the need for sustainable financing and investment to keep the club stable.

Catania president Ross Pelligra addressed fans after the club’s semifinal playoff loss that ended its Serie B ambitions. He thanked supporters, sponsors and staff, admitted the disappointment, and promised to keep investing in the project. Pelligra confirmed that vice‑president Vincenzo Grella will remain part of the management and outlined plans to strengthen the club for the 2026/27 season.
