Italian clubs Chiampo and Avellino recruit promising young midfielders
Chiampo announced the arrival of two 2008‑born players from the Arzignano youth system: defender Tommaso Biolo, who completed his development in the club's academy, and midfielder Riccardo Zanetti, described as a dynamic prospect ready to contribute to the first‑team midfield. Union Olmo Creazzo also added Yahya Mlila, a 2003‑born left‑footed midfielder/winger returning after a study break, while striker Claudio Morra was sidelined by a muscle injury ahead of an upcoming friendly.
Avellino introduced Giacomo Faticanti, a 2004‑born midfielder who chose the club over Juventus. Faticanti said he sees himself as a modern midfielder capable of playing as a playmaker or mezzala and praised coach Baldini for his confidence. He highlighted teammate Luca Palmiero’s leadership and expressed ambition to help Avellino achieve a strong season in the league.
