Italian clubs Inter and Genoa spotlight youth prospects Luka Topalovic and Diego Morra

Henrikh Mkhitaryan praised Inter midfielder Luka Topalovic, saying the 2006‑born Slovenian "has the means to become an excellent player". Topalovic has been training with the first‑team squad under former defender‑coach Cristian Chivu and is expected to feature for Inter’s U23 side, with a possible loan to Serie B mentioned as a way to gain experience.

Torino’s central defender Diego Morra, a 2010‑born Italian, is close to completing a move to Genoa. The deal, reportedly finalising a contract until 2029, would see Morra join Genoa’s Primavera squad. Morra progressed through Napoli’s youth system before joining Torino, where he accumulated over 1,600 minutes and scored in the U15 and U16 levels, despite a brief injury spell.

Both clubs are part of a broader trend of Italian Serie A sides investing in promising young talent to strengthen their future squads.
