Italian clubs Lazio and Lucchese ramp up transfer activity

Serie A side Lazio is intensifying its defensive rebuild, targeting Croatian centre‑back Sergi Dominguez from Dinamo Zagreb, reportedly for around €12 million, with a possible loan option for Italian defender Pietro Comuzzo also on the table. The club must replace departing defenders Mario Gila, set to join Milan, and captain Andrea Romagnoli, who is moving to Al Sadd.

Serie D team Lucchese confirmed three new signings—Gabriele Kernezo, Valerio Labriola and Giacomo Baldari—and indicated interest in goalkeeper Andrea Giardino from Messina. The club’s recruitment drive continues as the Serie D season is scheduled to start on 6 September, following the Coppa Italia kickoff on 23 August.
