Italian clubs Maceratese and Pianese announce roster changes for 2026‑27 season

Serie D side SS Maceratese 1922 confirmed the signing of veteran defender Diego Conson for the 2026/27 campaign. The 33‑year‑old centre‑back, who has amassed more than 400 appearances across Serie C and D with clubs such as Reggina, Siena, Carrarese and most recently Paganese, said he was impressed by the renovated stadium and is eager to start the new adventure.

US Pianese announced that long‑time captain and midfielder Luca Simeoni will leave the club after nine seasons. Simeoni, who joined the team in 2017 and recorded over 300 official appearances, thanked the club and fans, describing Pianese as a family. The club acknowledged his contributions and wished him success in his future career.
