Pescara and Ercolanese target new owners amid lower‑league takeovers

Former Sampdoria president Massimo Ferrero is reported to be preparing a proposal to acquire a stake in Serie C club Pescara within the coming week. Club owner Daniele Sebastiani said the board will consider any party that can demonstrate financial solvency and a solid project, adding “Chiunque sarà in grado di dimostrare anche alla Federazione la solvibilità e la bontà del progetto verrà ascoltato”.

In a separate development, former Puteolana chief Capuano is said to be close to purchasing the Ercolanese football club after the previous investors walked away. The prospective deal is in its final stages, with plans to appoint Stiletto as sporting director and former Pomigliano coach Felice Rea as head coach should the transaction be completed.
