Italian clubs Salernitana and Sampdoria announce key summer signings

Salernitana confirmed the acquisition of 20‑year‑old goalkeeper Cesare Galeotti from Trapani on a contract that runs until 30 June 2028. The club will begin its pre‑season training in Umbria on 14 July before moving to a camp in Calabria, where it plans several friendly matches and may host the Angelo Iervolino Trophy on 9 August.

Sampdoria is active in the transfer market as well. The club received multiple offers from Spanish sides for forward Estanis Pedrola, with RCD Mallorca among the interested parties. In addition, Sampdoria completed the signing of defender Stefan Gartenmann on a two‑year deal, also lasting until 30 June 2028, bringing the Danish‑Swiss international’s experience from clubs in Denmark, Scotland and Hungary to the Italian side.
