Italian clubs Taranto and Lecce sign players to 2027 contracts

SS Taranto announced the signing of forward Nicola Loiodice on a contract that runs until 30 June 2027. The agreement, formalised on 18 November 2025, follows a productive spell with Fasano where he recorded five goals and two assists in 13 matches. Loiodice, a 1992‑born versatile attacker, has previously played in Serie C and Serie D for clubs including Casarano, Team Altamura, Barletta and Audace Cerignola, winning four Serie D titles.

US Lecce confirmed the renewal of defender Antonino Gallo, extending his deal to 30 June 2027 and adding one year to the contract that would otherwise have expired in 2026. Gallo, a left‑back who featured in 37 Serie A matches last season, came through the youth systems of Virtus Francavilla and Palermo and has represented Italy at U20 and U21 levels. He will re‑join the squad for pre‑season preparations in July.
