Italian clubs unveil 2026‑27 preseason schedules and youth academy partnership
The APU Old Wild West Udine announced its 2026‑27 preseason programme, beginning with a gathering on 17 August at the PalaCarnera Credifriuli. The squad will train in Tarvisio from 31 August to 4 September before playing a series of friendlies, including matches against Mestre (29 August), Olimpia Lubiana (10 September), NutriBullet Treviso (13 September), Dolomiti Energia Trento (17 September) and Tezenis Scaligera Verona (19 September).
Vigevano Calcio confirmed the signing of veteran striker Giacomo Mammetti for the upcoming Promozione season. Mammetti, born in 1988, has amassed more than 400 appearances and 200 goals across Serie C, Serie D and Eccellenza, and joins the club with expectations of contributing experience and scoring ability.
Valtanaro Calcio entered the Torino FC Academy network for the 2026‑27 season. The partnership will bring technical assistance, periodic visits from Torino staff, coaching workshops and open‑day events for youth categories on 10 and 12 September, offering local players exposure to the larger club’s development system.
