Italian coastal towns host Ferragosto celebrations

Various summer celebrations are scheduled across the Italian coast for August 14, coinciding with the Ferragosto period.

In Tortoreto, the musical group Formula 3 is scheduled to perform a concert on the seafront at 9:30 PM. The event is part of the local summer programming aimed at attracting tourists and residents from surrounding areas such as Giulianova and Roseto.

In San Saba, the 36th edition of the Sagra del Totano will take place at the Oasi Azzurra starting at 10:00 PM. The event features the tasting of traditional cuttlefish sandwiches, a fire show, a DJ set, and a traditional midnight sea swim to mark the arrival of Ferragosto.
