Italian coastal towns host summer aquatic sports events
Various coastal regions in Italy are hosting summer sporting events focused on tourism and social inclusion.
In Ladispoli, the Marina di Palo APS Association is organizing the second edition of ‘Un Mare di Emozioni – Lo sport non va in vacanza’ on August 22 and 23. The event at the Marina di Palo seafront features aquatic sports including jet ski tours with dedicated assistance for people with disabilities, freestyle moto, SUP tours, Flyboard demonstrations, and water goal competitions. The initiative aims to promote sports tourism and social aggregation.
In Numana, the Osimo Pirates are launching the sixth edition of the ‘Pallanuoto d’aMare’ tournament on August 29. Held at the Accessible Beach of Numana, the competition brings water polo from pools directly into the sea. The tournament has seen high demand, with 13 senior teams registered. The event emphasizes social connection and inclusion, combining competitive sports with community activities.
