Italian comedy ‘Lo sposo indeciso’ to air on Rai 1

The Italian comedy film ‘Lo sposo indeciso’, directed by Giorgio Amato, is scheduled for broadcast on Rai 1. The film follows Gianni Buridano, a rational and atheistic philosophy professor played by Gianmarco Tognazzi, who decides to marry Samantha, a Catholic university cleaning lady portrayed by Ilenia Pastorelli.

The plot centers on the wedding day when Gianni becomes trapped in a church restroom, facing a physical and existential crisis that may be linked to a curse cast by a witch, Maga Cecilia, played by Claudia Gerini. The story explores themes of free will, social satire, and the clash between opposing cultural and religious worlds.

The ensemble cast includes Francesco Pannofino, Ornella Muti, Stefano Pesce, Giorgio Colangeli, and Jenny De Nucci.
