Italian comedy performers headline regional cultural events

Various comedy performances and literary presentations have recently taken place across Italy. At the ‘Cabaret sul Battello’ event held on Lake Bracciano, comedians Gianluca Giugliarelli and Antonio Catalano performed a set focusing on domestic life, relationships, and daily observations.

In Pordenone, the comedy duo known as ‘I Papu’ (Andrea Appi and Ramiro Besa) appeared at the Pordenonelegge festival. Celebrating 37 years of performing together, the duo presented their new book, ‘Una risata ci seppellirà’, which compiles theatrical shows produced between 2010 and 2026. Their work often blends sketches with historical and local narratives.
