Italian comic artists celebrated in regional events

Comic artist Alessandro Perugini, known as PeraToons, held a highly successful book signing event in Bisceglie, Puglia. More than 450 children and their parents attended the session at Vecchie Segherie Mastrototaro to celebrate the launch of his book, “Miss Kappa da ridere”. Perugini has seen significant commercial success, with his publications frequently appearing at the top of Italian bestseller lists.

In San Benedetto del Tronto, the second edition of the “Cose da Paz!” festival was held to honor the legacy of Andrea Pazienza, a seminal figure in Italian comics. The festival featured exhibitions, masterclasses, and musical performances, including a reading by Sergio Rubini at Teatro Concordia. The event aimed to connect new generations with Pazienza’s unique graphic style and cultural impact.
