Italian commercial vehicle service networks expand

Several developments are expanding the commercial vehicle service and sales infrastructure in Italy.

Orange Service has inaugurated a new 17,000-square-meter service center in Vignate. Representing a 13 million euro investment, the facility has joined the official Mercedes-Benz Trucks network of Daimler Truck Italia. The center aims to minimize vehicle downtime by consolidating various maintenance tasks, such as inspections, tachograph checks, and servicing, into single appointments to improve fleet efficiency.

Additionally, Gruppo BIG has entered the MAN Truck & Bus Italia commercial network, specifically focusing on the VAN range. Through its specialized hub in Anagni, the group will offer the MAN TGE line alongside integrated services including consultancy, financial solutions, and custom fittings. The offering is supported by ORBITALIS, a proprietary digital platform designed for fleet monitoring and operational efficiency.
