Italian communities celebrate Saint Michael the Archangel

Various Italian communities are preparing to celebrate the feast of Saint Michael the Archangel through religious and cultural programming.

In Lampazzone di Ricadi, an event titled ‘Poesia, sotto il mantello di San Michele – Versi e note come lame di luce’ is scheduled for September 20. Organized by Parish Priest Francesco Sicari in collaboration with the ‘Crisalide Arte e Cultura’ association, the evening will feature poetry readings by local poets and musical interludes in Piazza San Michele.

Vasto will host a multi-day celebration from September 26 to September 30. The festivities include the centenary of the National Association of Italian Sailors, various musical performances, and the San Michele Award. The program concludes on September 30 with a Mass presided over by Archbishop Bruno Forte, a procession, a concert by Le Vibrazioni, and a fireworks display.
