Italian communities host public dance and social events

Various Italian municipalities are hosting community dance events to promote social interaction and summer festivities.

In Genzano, the “Social Street Dance” event took place in Piazza Frasconi on the eve of Ferragosto. The initiative, part of the Summer Genzanese 2026 program, focused on salsa and bachata rhythms. The event featured DJ Roberto Noche de Cuba and included participation from local dance schools such as Studio 3 and Magia Salsera, attracting residents and visitors of all ages.

In Cremona, the “Ballando Ballando” initiative is returning to local neighborhoods after a one-year hiatus. The program includes three free events scheduled for August 25 in the Zaist district, September 1 in Cascinetto, and September 8 in Sant’Ambrogio. The events will feature live music from Raff and Jade, a dance floor, and guidance from Renato Arisi in collaboration with the Cremona Dance & Co. association.
