Italian communities inaugurate pink benches for cancer awareness
Local communities in Italy are inaugurating symbolic pink benches to promote breast cancer awareness and oncological prevention.
In Quara, the Municipality of Toano, in collaboration with the Vittorio Lodini Association, SenoNaltro, and the local parish, inaugurated a pink bench. The event, attended by approximately 70 people, included a pink walk and a collection of donations to support prevention and awareness activities. Three female players from Reggiana Calcio also participated to support the cause. The initiative aims to emphasize the importance of early diagnosis and regular health screenings.
Similarly, in Nibionno, a pink bench was inaugurated in the Cibrone locality in collaboration with the association Agatha in Cammino Odv. The event included a mass and testimonies from the association to raise awareness about the daily struggles of those facing cancer and the importance of community support.
