The Italian communities of Cassino and Codigoro are mourning the loss of two former local figures.

In Cassino, the community is mourning Antimo Pietroluongo, an engineer and former assessor for Public Works during the Petrarcone administration. Pietroluongo was noted for his technical expertise and his role within the Order of Engineers of the Frosinone province. His funeral is scheduled for Sunday at the Concattedrale di Cassino.

In Codigoro, former mayor Enea Pandolfi has passed away at the age of 73 following an incurable illness. Pandolfi, who also worked as a bank director, was remembered by local officials and citizens for a dignified and unifying approach to politics.
