Italian communities mourn the passing of Dirce Marchesi and Carolina Imemba

Local communities in Italy are mourning the passing of two women.

In Pesaro, Dirce Marchesi, the mother of municipal and provincial councilor Anna Maria Mattioli, has passed away. Marchesi is remembered by her family as a dedicated mother and a pillar of strength who raised her children with a sense of unity and responsibility. She is predeceased by her husband, Primo, and her son, Gianluca, a former international basketball referee.

In Piedimonte Matese, the community is expressing condolences following the death of Carolina Imemba. A well-known figure in the town, Imemba is remembered by local groups as a determined and affectionate mother. She is survived by her husband, Maurizio, and her two daughters, Andrea and Ludovica.
