Italian communities open renovated school facilities

Several Italian communities have marked the start of the new school year with the opening of renovated or newly constructed educational facilities.

In Colonnella, students in primary and secondary schools have moved into a new complex dedicated to Guido Iustini, a former mayor. The facility was designed with modern pedagogical needs in mind, featuring updated ventilation systems and functional spaces intended to improve the learning environment and student comfort.

In Vietri sul Mare, the Dragonea district has reopened its school following a seven-year renovation process. The project included critical seismic upgrades to ensure structural safety, as well as improvements to energy efficiency. The primary school has been named after Gabriele Fasano, a scholar and writer. Local officials attended the inauguration, noting that despite construction delays and unforeseen structural issues, the school now serves as a safe and efficient community hub.
