Italian community organizations celebrate milestones in migrant integration

Several Italian community organizations dedicated to immigrant integration are celebrating significant milestones.

The Sportello Immigrazione, established within the Diocese of Alife-Caiazzo, is marking 25 years of service. Originally founded in Piedimonte in 1998 and officially in Alife in 2002, the center provides legal assistance for residence permits, family reunification, social secretariat services, and guidance regarding Italian citizenship and employment. Its anniversary was highlighted during an interdiocesan conference in Teano.

In Olbia, the Intercultural Laboratory for Integration (Labint) is celebrating its 30th anniversary. Founded by Tonino Cau and Aly Cissé, the organization serves as a bridge between cultures, assisting foreigners with medical access and labor market integration. To mark the occasion, Labint has launched a new website available in Italian, French, and English, alongside a redesigned logo intended to represent diversity and the organization's future direction.
