Italian companies launch corporate wellness and prevention initiatives

Several Italian businesses are implementing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs focused on health and prevention.

In Siracusa, AVIS, in collaboration with the ASP of Siracusa, has launched an initiative targeting workers at the ISAB refinery in Priolo Gargallo. The program aims to promote blood donation and wellness through educational meetings. Following initial interest, organizers plan to hold dedicated days within the company to facilitate pre-donation medical checks, reducing organizational barriers for employees.

In Carpi, the company Crea-Si, led by Gloria Trevisani, organized a health initiative for its female employees as part of ‘Pink October’. The program provided senological examinations and breast ultrasounds to promote early cancer diagnosis. The initiative is part of a long-standing effort by the company to integrate health prevention into its corporate culture.
