Italian Contemporary Art Exhibitions Launch in Bologna and Spello

Alessandro Roma, the Milan‑born ceramic sculptor, opened his solo exhibition “L’Apparente” at CAR Gallery in Bologna. The show features fluid, glazed‑ceramic installations that explore transformation and space, with works such as “Svelando” displayed throughout the gallery.

The tenth edition of the international contemporary art festival “Stati d’Arte” opened at Villa Fidelia in Spello. Curated by the association “La casa degli artisti” and overseen by artistic director Andrea Baffoni, the exhibition presents more than one hundred works by artists from diverse backgrounds. Dedicated to Saint Francis for the 800th anniversary of the Franciscan order, the program emphasizes themes of equality, nature, and humanity. The exhibition runs free of charge daily from 16:00 to 19:00 until 30 August, with additional events and performances planned throughout the month. It enjoys the high patronage of the European Parliament and the support of Italy’s ministries of Foreign Affairs and Tourism.
